For controlling DALI devices via ABB i-bus® KNX. Two DALI outputs for up to 2x 64 DALI participants. DALI power supply is integrated. Control and status feedback is performed via KNX for DALI participants (2x 64), with lighting groups (2x 16), together in the broadcast or in scenes (2x 16). DALI devices type DT1 (separate emergency converter according to EN 62386-202) and type DT8 (color temperature Tc / tunable white according to EN 62386-209) will be supported. Extensive error messages are available. Using the KNX and DT1 converter, it is possible to run various emergency tests (e.g. function and duration test), the test results are transferred back to the KNX. With DT8 devices, the color temperature Dim2Warm, HCL, can be set and muted. Slave, stair, power, block and stage functions are integrated. Feedback will be sent. The DALI telegram speed may change. Another function is standby shutdown in combination with a KNX switching actuator (e.g. SA/S).
As of ETS 2.0, RGB (W) and HSV (W) color functions can be used. This allows you to control, dim and adjust the color of the lamp. In addition to scenes, it is possible to parameterize 4 sequences for DALI output. It is also possible to integrate DALI gateways into the load management system. DALI gates determine the operating hours. All these functions can be used for individual EVGs and DALI groups.
A separate software tool (ABB i-bus® Tool) is available for diagnostic use and individual change of DALI address or group assignment.
