Thanks to the increased test voltage and marking, this cable is particularly suitable for the transmission of BUS signals in building systems technology. Mainly for the European Installation Bus (EIB). The EIB BUS is available from the EIB under the NR. 1/39/92 and meets the requirements for bus cables in DIN VDE 0829 and EN 5009-2. EIB BUS lines HCHM can be installed on, in and under the plaster, in pipes and installation ducts, in dry, humid and wet rooms and outdoors - as long as they are protected from direct sunlight. It can be run next to the power line or touch it. Only one pair of wires (red / white) is required for the EIB fieldbus,
through which the 24V bus voltage and data telegrams are transmitted together. The second pair of wires is used as a reserve or for special purposes.
