Functions in the Gira KNX system:

Dimming outputs:
- Independent switching and dimming of dimming outputs.
- It is possible to specify the type of load and define the dimming principle: Universal (with automatic calibration procedure), electronic transformer (capacitive/trailing edge), conventional transformer (inductive/rising edge), LED (rising edge) or LED (trailing edge).
- Characteristic dimming curve per channel configurable in time and value range to adapt to the respective connected load.
- Dimming range can be set: Brightness at power-on, basic brightness and upper dimming limit.
- It is possible to adjust the performance after receiving the absolute brightness value (dimming, brightening, fading).
- Performance during relative dimming in the off state can be set (channel on, no reaction).
- Switching feedback: Active (sent to the bus cyclically or when changing) or passive (the object can be read) feedback function.
- For each output it is possible to set the response to restore the bus voltage.
- The blocking function can be parameterized for each channel.
- Time functions (on delay, off delay).
- Staircase lighting function with pre-warning function through time-controlled reduction of lighting or activation of permanent lighting.
- Can be integrated into light scenes: Up to 16 internal scenes can be parameterized for one output.
- Scene loading delay time can be configured.
- Dimming power can be set when a new scene is called (brighten, dim, fade).
- Visual feedback when saving a scene.
- Brightness value feedback: Active (sends to the bus cyclically or when changing) or passive (the object can be read) feedback function.
- For active feedback objects, the update type can be set (when the input object changes or when the feedback value changes). This enables individual customization of visualizations.
