RF-AKK2UP.01 KNX RF+ radio switching actuator 2x/230V/10A
Type: MDT RF-AKK2UP.01 KNX RF+ radio switching actuator 2x/230V/10A
EAN: 4251916148522
Bus System: KNX (RF)
Degree of protection: IP20
Mounting: Recessed
This MDT KNX RF + radio switching actuator can switch 2 independent electrical loads and receive KNX-EIB telegrams. The outputs are switched via monostable relays and can be individually programmed using ETS. You can choose between blocking functions, status feedback, central switching functions and complex time functions such as on/off delay and staircase lighting functions. Scene functions are also available. This switching actuator works in the bidirectional mode of the KNX RF + system and can be perfectly installed in existing installations without a KNX bus cable. The MDT KNX RF + wireless line coupler (RF-LK001.02) is used to connect to the KNX bus. If there is a mains voltage failure, all outputs are switched off and the status is restored when the mains voltage is restored. You need the ETS for commissioning and programming.
Details:
- New KNX RF+ protocol in system mode
- Commissioning with ETS 5
- Normally open and normally closed operation
- Time functions (on/off delay, staircase lighting function)
- Feedback function (active/passive) for all channels
- Logical connections
- 8 scenes per channel
- Central functions and object blocking for forced operation
- Adjustable behavior upon bus voltage failure/resumption
- Installation in a switch box
- Connection via MDT KNX RF+ radio coupler (RF-LK001.02)
- For modernization without laying bus cables

The maximum transmission distance is 150 m in an open-air test site. The range of radio signals in buildings is often stated as 30 m. However, due to normal absorption radio signals in buildings the real distance is:
➢ About 30 m with good requirements: Large free space, good installation position
transmitter and almost no sources of interference in the radio transmission channel, e.g. a large conference room.
➢ Planning reliability:
approx. 20m with people in the room and transmission through some plasterboard walls or up to 2 stone walls, approx. 10m in narrow corridors
➢ The vertical transition of ceilings must in any case be ensured
Reduction of material extent compared to open space:
Wooden wall, sheet metal wall, glass (no metals) 0-10%
Stone wall, pressed board wall (chipboard) 5-35%
Cement with iron reinforcement 10-90%
Metal, Aluminum (Underfloor heating) almost complete barrier
