The KNX B4 Universal interface is a 4-fold binary KNX input. It is used to detect the status of contact sensors and to control/switch/regulate KNX bus devices with classic conventional switches and buttons. The input module is suitable for processing binary signals of potential-free contacts and provides a sensing voltage of 3.3 V for sensing the contacts.

KNX input functions such as switching, dimming, roller shutter control, blinds, counter and scenes can be used in the usual way. Thanks to the small housing (diagonal 52 mm), the KNX B4 Universal finds enough space in a flush-mounted box (Ø 60 mm) behind the switch.
