Provides a data connection between two KNX lines/segments/areas and ensures galvanic isolation between these lines/segments/areas. The filter functions for group telegrams and telegrams with physical address can be configured separately in the ETS. Manual operation to deactivate the filter functions (separately for group telegrams and telegrams with physical address). Indication of the current operating mode and the status of the filter functions using multi-colored status LEDs.

Secure proxy for connecting unencrypted and encrypted lines. (e.g. used between the building (unencrypted line) and the outside (encrypted line)) or when using two devices to create a secure bridge between two unencrypted lines.
Automatic setup of functionality as a secure proxy in ETS6 after secure startup using a device certificate.

Configuration and startup of the device from ETS 5 from version 5.7.7 when used as an area, line or repeater. With ETS 6 from version 6.1.0 (recommended) further use as a segment switch or secure proxy.
