Elsner Windancer basic W KNX sec (71290) is a wind speed sensor with a mechanical cup anemometer and KNX Data Secure support. It is intended for monitoring wind conditions and protecting blinds, blinds and awnings from damage by strong winds.

Wind measurement and automation

The sensor measures the wind speed and provides the measured values via the KNX bus. It supports four adjustable threshold values ​​that can be used for automatic control of the shading technology.

Integrated logic functions enable the combination of measured values ​​with other signals of the KNX system. The device supports 8 logical functions AND and 8 OR, each with four inputs.

KNX Data Secure

Support KNX Data Secure ensures encrypted communication in the KNX system. Parameterization is performed via ETS.

The sensor is powered directly from the KNX bus and can be installed on a wall or mast using suitable mounting accessories.
