Intesis INKNXMBM1000200 is a compact communication gateway designed to integrate devices and systems with Modbus RTU protocol into the KNX TP system. It allows you to access data and values from Modbus registers in the KNX system and at the same time transfer data from KNX to Modbus devices.

The gateway operates as a Modbus RTU Client (Master) and communicates via the EIA-485 (RS-485) interface. On the KNX side, it uses the standard KNX TP bus. Device configuration is performed using ETS, while the supported standard KNX data types (DPT) allow for easy integration into existing KNX installations.

The device supports up to 100 Modbus registers and up to 205 KNX communication objects. Using ETS DCA, Modbus device templates can be imported and exported, making it easier to configure recurring installations and integrate different Modbus devices.

The gateway also supports the modification of values between Modbus and KNX using mathematical operations such as multiplication or division. This allows you to adapt the data from Modbus registers to the specific requirements of the KNX installation.

Note: The device supports Modbus RTU via RS-485. Does not support Modbus TCP/IP.
