The Intesis INMBSDAL0640500 is a communication gateway designed to integrate DALI and DALI-2 lighting systems into building management systems (BMS) and automation systems using the Modbus TCP protocol.

The device works as Modbus TCP Server, which allows Modbus TCP clients to monitor and control DALI/DALI-2 lighting devices and compatible DALI-2 input devices. Data from the DALI system is made available in the Modbus TCP system, so that lighting can be integrated into a higher-level building management system.

The gateway supports up to 64 DALI/DALI-2 drivers/ballasts and others 64 DALI-2 input devices on one DALI channel. Supported input devices include buttons, absolute inputs, presence sensors and light sensors.

The device has an integrated DALI bus power supply, so a separate DALI power supply is not required. The gateway supports up to 6 simultaneously connected Modbus TCP clients and until 10,000 signals in total, which allows the integration of even more complex DALI installations.

The gateway is configured and commissioned using the configuration tool Intesis MAPS. The software allows you to create projects, configure DALI devices and Modbus communication parameters, as well as control communication between individual systems.

Note: The power supply for the gateway itself is not included in the delivery. The device has an integrated DALI bus power supply. For compatibility, use DALI-2 devices certified according to the DALI Alliance rules.
